The Lead Physical Therapist is responsible for overseeing the Physical Therapy staff in their setting (Acute Care, Inpatient Rehab or Outpatient setting) and the examination and evaluation of patients and administering Patient Therapy interventions in collaboration with the referring physician. Demonstrates competency in skills necessary to care for and manage primarily adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in acute care, outpatient or acute inpatient rehabilitation unit setting.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (or related field if a more advanced degree in PT is held) required
Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy. This requirement is waived for individuals who were licensed prior to the requirement of the Doctorate Degree for licensure. required
Over 1 year to 3 years experience as Physical Therapist required
