Under general direction of the General Manager of Grand View Medical, the Billing Supervisor is responsible for oversight of the billing process of Grand View Medical Company. Provides supervision and direction of the Billing Coordinators with goals of accurate billing and maximizing reimbursement.

Essential Functions:

• Develops and implements mechanisms and controls to ensure appropriate billing and payment cycles and accurate and timely billing.
• Maintains up to date expertise and knowledge of durable medical equipment billing rules and regulations.
• Identify and correct system reports designed to identify missing information needed for billing customer orders.
• Manages the process of billing personnel actions, performs performance evaluations, and initiates corrective action plans when appropriate.
• Performs month end close functions. Performs reporting functions to hospital finance departments.
• Manages actions relating to delinquent accounts, collection agencies, special adjustments, and/or write offs.
• Coordinates flow of paperwork and information between customer service and billing departments.
• Ensure that site is compliant with all payer requirements and government regulations.
• Compiles statistical data and/or reports as directed and in a timely manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma/GED required
Over 3 years to 5 years Medical, Home Health, or DME billing preferred
