The Respiratory Therapist supplies approved Respiratory Care Services to Grand View Health inpatients and outpatients of all ages and demographics. As a Respiratory Therapist at Grand View Health, you will be working in the Emergency Department for emergency treatments, STAT blood gases, initiating bi-pap and aiding in one of three Trauma Bays, staff the Pediatric and Labor and Delivery Floors. The pediatric unit is staffed 24/7 by Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) physicians.
Essential Functions:
Grand View Health is a community non-profit Level 2 Trauma Center with 200 licensed beds in the heart of Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
Schedule: Day/evening hours, including every third weekend and every third holiday.
Education and Experience:
Associates Degree Accredited Respiratory Therapy Program. See regs for qualifications for individuals who were licensed prior to 2002, required
Licenses and Certifications:
CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), Upon hire, required
RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), Upon hire, required
Licensed by the PA State Board of Medicine (or PA State Board of Osteopathic Medicine) as a Respiratory Therapist, Upon hire, required
Basic Life Support (BLS), Upon hire, required
