Excellent communication skills and the ability to listen and lead are important assets to the team member performing the essential role of Lead Medical Assistant in Workplace Health and Wellness. The Lead Medical Assistant must have the desire to make a positive impact on the lives of patients and have the ability to multi-task, take initiative to complete job duties in a timely manner, and perform routine clinical and administrative tasks to keep the office running efficiently.
Essential Functions:
Schedule: Monday-Friday, no weekends. Shifts vary (the earliest would be 7am and the latest would be 8pm).
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma/GED, required
Three years or more experience in a medical office or other healthcare facility with demonstrated experience in leading/mentoring teams and/or leading performance improvement initiatives, required.
Licenses and Certifications:
DOT Urine Drug Screen Collector & Breath Alcohol Technician Certificates, within 1 year of hire, required. Training wil be provided.
CAOHC & NIOSH-approved Spirometry Certifications within 2 years of hire, required.
BLS preferred.
CMA or RMA preferred.
